Vie Saine Child Theme for Divi
Vie Saine was designed with chiropractors in mind. It would also suit other complementary health services like naturopaths, acupuncturists, massage therapists, laser therapists and physiotherapists.
The Home Page – an Overview of Your Health Services
Using a hero photo depicting a healthy active lifestyle conveys to viewers that you can help them to maintain (or return to) optimal health. Include an introductory headline to reinforce this and how you can help them.
Highlight Key Areas of Your Site
The 4 round blurb modules give you the opportunity to feature 4 key areas of your site. For the demo site, I have highlighted the About Us page – people want to know who the doctor (and other specialists) are. I have also highiighted the 2 services that are offered, and the new patient center. Clicking on each of the circles opens up the tab module below, giving an introduction. If people are interested, they can then click the Read More button to go to that page.
An email newsletter allows you to stay in touch with people by sending them regular health and wellness updates. If they receive valuable information from you, this will increase their trust in you when they might need your services.
Prominent Contact Information
It is important to make it easy for people to contact you. The Contact section is always visible at the top of every page, so people can call, email, or connect with you through social media. A highlighted button brings extra attention to make the “Request an Appointment” button stands out.
A fullwidth carousel scrolls through the conditions that you have identified you can help people with. Clicking on any of the conditions will take people to the page for that condition, where they can learn more about how your treatment can help.
If you have a blog to post health tips, the most recent blog posts can be featured, leading people to the read the entire post.
Hours and Location
Make this important information easy to access in the footer of each page.
Health Conditions Section
Health Conditions Page
The Vie Saine child theme uses Divi’s Projects post type to focus on conditions that can be treated by your clinic. The Symptoms overview page uses the Portfolio grid module to link to each symptom/condition’s detail page.
Condition Detail Page
The individual condition page allows you to go into more detail about that condition, what symptoms the person might be experiencing, and how you can help. Providing this information can also help you attract more visitors (and potential clients) to your site through searches. People are likely to search for the problem they are experiencing (“I have a sore back”) rather than the solution (“I need a chiropractor”).
Lifestyle Header Images
On the demo site, the round images depict people enjoying an active, healthy lifestyle, helping to set the mood of the site.
Who You Are and What You Do
About Us and Services
Of course, standard on every website are “about us” and “services” pages.
It is particularly important with healthcare professionals – people want to know who you are – what qualifications do you have, what is your experience, what are you like as a person and as a caregiver.
As well it is important to provide details about the services you offer, what is involved, how will it benefit the patient, what costs are involved.
New Patient Center
New patients may hesitate to use your services because they do not know what to expect. Make them feel comfortable with your New Patients Center.
- You may want to include information about what to expect from their first appointment.
- Answer questions they may have on a frequently asked questions page.
- Show them testimonials from previous patients.
- Provide them with the required forms that they can look at and fill out in advance of their appointment.
In order to accommodate people who prefer to communicate online, an appointment request form is included in the Vie Saine theme. You may choose to use this form to allow people to contact you with their preferred time for an appointment.
You may choose to have a blog on your website. It is a great way to add fresh content to attract visitors to your site. And providing information is a great way to show your knowledge and authority, which gives people confidence in you. If you do, Vie Saine is ready for you with a customized blog layout..
