Inspirez Child Theme for Divi
Designed with yoga instructors in mind, Inspirez gives you all the tools to market your yoga class business online with an attractive professional website
The Home Page – an Overview of Your Yoga Class Business
The menu features a unique hover effect and dropdown menu styling.
Select an appealing hero image to introduce your website to visitors. Include a brief statement to attract viewers to scroll down to learn more.
Include a brief introduction – a good idea is to focus on the benefits that yoga can offer to people. People tend to respond to the WIIFM (What’s In It For Me). To keep the clean look of this section, choose an image on a white background.
If it suits, you can even use the text that has been included in the demo content on your site, explaining some key benefits that can be achieved with the regular practice of yoga.
Your business is all about you – your teaching style, experience and knowledge. So who you are is very important to potential students. Give them an introduction here, leading to more information on the About page.
Three sections have been provided here – you can add more if you want by duplicating one of the existing sections). In my demo site, they are leading to the class schedule, class descriptions and retreat page. You can update this as needed based on what you want to draw attention to. For example if you have an upcoming retreat or workshop, you may want to feature that.
The yoga position icons used here are included with the theme. There are 10 yoga position icons in all.
Testimonials offer social proof. Ask existing students if they will provide you with testimonials. You can use portions of their testimonials in the testimonial sliders to paint a picture for potential customers that your classes will also be right for them.
The background image is included with the theme – it is a semi-transparent image that will also work if you choose to change the colour scheme.
You may want to send out an email newsletter to students and potential students. Building an email list is a great way to get the word out if you hold retreats and workshops, and also to communicate any class changes, new class offerings, etc. The Divi Optin module has been styled for you, and works with the MailChimp or AWeber email distribution services. You can activate one of these in the Divi settings and select your list here to set up your optin form.
Lets not forget the footer that appears on every page. The lotus icon shown here is included with the theme, and as above it is a semi-transparent image that will work even if you choose to change the colour scheme of your site.
Your location and contact information can appear here, as shown in the demo. The demo content has the recent posts widget activated in the footer area. If you are not going to have a blog on your site, you can substitute this with other information in the Appearance – Widgets menu in your WordPress dashboard.
Your Classes Page
The heart of your yoga business is the classes that you offer. The yoga classes page allows you to publish a description of each class, so that people know what to expect, and can decide what class will be right for them.
The yoga position icons shown here are included with the theme – there are 10 icons in all. If you have more than 6 classes you can duplicate the existing rows for your additional classes.
Each class includes a button that you can link to the schedule for that class so that people can take the next step and decide which class time will suit them.
Two sections are provided – the first for a bio, and the second where you can list any qualifications and certifications that you have achieved. And there is plenty of space for photos, so that people can get to know you.
You can include the answers to any frequently asked questions you get here. Use the suggested questions as a starting point, or add your own. You can use the supplied Yoga Etiquette section as is, or change it to suit your needs.
Of course you want to give people a way to get in touch with you. You can include a map so that they know how to locate your studio.
Class Schedules and Rates
Inspirez uses the plugin to display and manage your class schedule in an attractive weekly calendar format. The buttons at the top allow the viewer to filter the calendar to view the time slots for one class, making it easier to see if there is a particular class they wish to attend.
Of course, people want to know how much it is going to cost. Inspirez includes a Rates page where you can set up your rates and packages that you offer.
The theme also includes a PayPat plugin that will allow you to accept payments online if you wish to use this option. In order to accept credit cards through PayPal you will need to sign up for a PayPal business account.
You may choose to have a blog on your website. It is a great way to add fresh content to attract visitors to your site. And providing information is a great way to show your knowledge and authority, which gives people confidence in you. If you do, Inspirez is ready for you with a customized blog layout and archive page.
